Go Fly a Kite in Bicentennial Park May 20

Go Fly a Kite ....... in Bicentennial Park. Rain or shine - or even without
wind.

Next Sunday afternoon, May 20. Probably early afternoon(12:30 p.m) would be best. Bring
a hat.

Its a free park, right?

Maybe you can play soccer, or have a picnic. Or just walk around the place.
It's got a great view of the water.

Maybe a lot of people will show up and send a message that it would be better
to have more park in the park than buildings. Rather than the Miami Art Museum which hasn't come up with its matching funds of $100 million. Do we want another Perfoming Arts Center fiasco? I don't think so.

Why should we give the park away to an elite mussum that has a pathetic
collection of art but has nice parties for their favored members?

No one is against museums? But should we really favor a non water related or
water dependent museum in Bicentennial Park? Not in my book.

It's a complex issue so do the future a favor and look at our website www.
commonsensemiami.com

And send a message to city and county commissioners.

"Save Bicentennial Park from the Miami Art Museum"

And Pass on the Word to others.
